We especially enjoy and welcome children at Church of the Cross and make an extra effort to support parents in the challenging task of raising their children and being a healthy family in today's world. We have various weekly programs for children and youth, including a Sunday morning opportunity for those with special needs. Additionally, our youth regularly volunteer at the Erie City Mission, the Sight Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, CONNECT Erie, and others.
Many people who visit here for the first time say that we are not a "typical" Presbyterian church, in that our worship style is more informal and less traditional than many other churches in our denomination. That is intentional on our part, as we seek to blend both traditional and contemporary elements in our worship together as the family of God.
