We provide child residential psychiatric services, Multisystemic Therapy, and a specialized Foster Host Home Treatment Program. The agency is a fully accredited child and family social service agency in compliance with all statutory requirements set by the Department of Public Welfare and the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
In addition to its formal licensing status, Harborcreek Youth Services has also attained certification from two national standard setting groups, the Council on Accreditation and the Sanctuary Institute ® . These certifications are consistent with agency efforts over the past decade in prioritizing the delivery of science-based services, including a Trauma-Informed Care Practice Model. We were recognized by the Council on Accreditation for achieving the "Hightest Standards of Professional Practice" in the delivery of both child residential treatment services and family preservation and treatment services. Harborcreek Youth Services is also one of only a handful of agencies to be awarded Sanctuary distinction; which reflects an agency wide commitment to the creation of a non-violent therapeutic culture. In addition, our Multisystemic Therapy program is a nationally recognized, evidence-based practice with extensive clinical and program standards that are equal to or greater than those included in licensing standards.
We are a non-profit agency providing services at our main campus location in Harborcreek, PA, and at our HYS Community Center office located in Wesleyville, PA.
